Tourism College of Zhejiang

Tourism College of Zhejiang is the first tourism professional institute in China which is on records of Ministry of Education. Students from all over the world are welcome to study at our college. As an affiliated institute of Tourism College of Zhejiang, International Education Division aims at the education of foreign students .It offers four programs, that is, program for Chinese language students, program for junior college students , program for short-term course students, program for group short-term training students.

Ⅰ.Chinese Language Student Program

1.Requirements:

Applicants must be at least 18 years old, no serious disease with a high school diploma .

2.Materials to be submitted:

① A complete application form for foreign students ;

②A copy of completed Physical Examination Record Form;

③A copy of a high school diploma or a certificate from the college you are attending;

④A copy of official transcripts from high school;

⑤A copy of passport ;

⑥6 recent colored photos with your name on the back ;

3.Courses

We offer three levels of classes: elementary, intermediate and advanced classes.

Advanced class	Advanced Chinese (intensive reading ) , Reading Comprehension (Extensive reading), Advanced Oral Chinese , Advanced Chinese Listening, Test of HSK(Band 9-11), Breakthroughs in HSK Vocabulary(Band 9-11 ), A Survey of China, Chinese Writing, Taiji /Wushu

4. Length of the program: 1 semester--2 years( 4 semesters).

Ⅱ.Junior College Student Program

1.Requirements:

Applicants must be at least 18 years old; no serious disease with a high school diploma; Chinese proficiency of HSK Band 3. For students whose Chinese language is not proficient enough may enroll first in a one-year Intensive Chinese Language Study Program.

2.Materials to be submitted:

① A complete application form for foreign students ;

② A copy of completed Physical Examination Record Form (Please check in a public hospital and send us the copy )

③ A copy of high school or a certificate from the college your are attending.

④ A copy of transcripts from high school or college

⑤ A copy of passport ;

⑥ A copy of Certificate of HSK Examination( Band 3 or above)

⑦ 6 recent colored photos with your name on the back.

3.Majors Offered:

Tour Guiding; Tourism Management; Hospitality Management; Operation & Management

of Scenic Spots; Cuisine and F & B Management; Convention & Exhibition Management; Human Resources Management in Tourism; Computer Information Management; Accounting in Tourism

4. Length of the program: 3 years (4 semester--5 semesters for study; 1 semester --2 semester for internship.)

Ⅲ.Short-Term Course Student Program

1.Requirements:

(1) Healthy;

(2) The students at least in the second year

(3) Teachers; civil servants and clerks.

2.Materials to be submitted:

① A complete application form for foreign students ;

② A copy of completed Physical Examination Record Form ( Please check in a public hospital and send us the copy. )

③ A certificate from the college you are attending; a copy of a certificate of professional titles for teachers ; a copy of a on-the –job certificate for civil servants and clerks.

④ Two letters from associate professors or professors

⑤ A copy of passport ;

3.Length of the program: half a year—2 years

1.Requirements: Any group.

2.The Number of Students: 5 or above

3. Time: 1-5 weeks (for winter vacation, 1-3weeks; for summer vacation, 1-5 weeks)

4. Courses: Chinese, Chinese Culture, Chinese Geography, Chinese History, Tourism (Or courses required by the group)

II. Application & Procedures for Applying a Visa:

1) Procedures:

① Tourism College of Zhejiang International Student Application Form is available either from International Education Division, Tourism College of Zhejiang by regular mail, e-mail or downloading from the website: http://www.tczj.net

② Send the completed form, application fee of US$50.00, a copy of Foreigner’s Physical Examination Record Form and other required materials to International Education Division at Tourism College of Zhejiang

③ To the qualified students, the college will send Tourism College of Zhejiang International Student Admission Notice, Visa Application for Study in China(JW/202)

④ The admitted student must bring all the documents including your passport, JW202 Form , Foreigner’s Physical Examination Record Form and Tourism College of Zhejiang International Student Admission Notice to the Embassy/ Consulate of the People’s Republic of China in the respective country and apply for an X or F visa. Student must register before the deadline at International Education Division, Tourism College of Zhejiang.
